Who else LOVES a good bath at the end of the day? Hopefully everyone says yes, because there’s literally nothing more relaxing!
It’s pretty normal to add bubbles or bath bombs in, but especially for us ladies.. too much fragrance or artificial ingredients can cause us some issues (hello, UTI – ain’t nobody got time for that). One easy way to get around this and STILL relax is to use epsom salts!
Epsom salts also come with natural fragrances (be sure it’s natural.. or add in some natural essential oil), or come plain. Either way, you’ll still get these benefits:
- Magnesium! This is one of the minerals that are vital for bodily functions. Magnesium is also great for muscle relaxation.
- Epsom salts can help with sore muscles. Perfect for a post-gym soak!
- Have bloating or swelling? Soak for 20 minutes to help reduce swelling in your body. It can also help decrease inflammation for some cysts with warm water (but of course consult your doctor!)
- In addition to a bath, you CAN drink epsom salts… but make sure they’re all natural and able to be consumed, and monitor how much you’re taking. This can help with digestion!
